About Wellbeing & Sport Education

WS Education is dedicated to advancing sports development, participation, progression and all round health and fitness within all communities. We do this by providing professional services and bespoke solutions that meet the exacting needs of our clients.

We save you time and energy by allowing organisations to focus on strategic development. Our products are wellbeing and sports provision across leisure, sports development, the NHS and private leisure providers. We provide packages across the spectrum for clients in areas such as primary, secondary, special education and local authorities.

We can provide instructors/coaches for a one off or weekly sessions, organise staff and run a full scale summer camp or anything in between!

All instructors have * or must be working towards

1. Enhanced CRB (if required)
2. Hold a NGB level two qualification or relevant qualification (level one if working as an apprentice coach with a more senior coach)
3. Operating standards training including
   • Safeguarding & Protecting Children*
   • Equity in your coaching*
   • Working with People with a disability*
   • Introduction to Long Term Athlete Development*
4. Current First Aid qualification
5. Minimum age: 18 years (16 for an apprentice)
6. Attended and passed an interview
7. References provided and verified
8. Sign up to our professional code of practice
